Geek Life Podcast Reviews Hybrid Earth #1
This week we talk about the exciting new indie comic Hybrid Earth by Rustin Petrae and Frederick Allison Jr. In December of 2015 the nano-bomb was created, fusing nuclear and nano technology together. The first, and last bomb, was detonated into Earth’s atmosphere. When the irradiated nanomachines came back down, they merged humans with machines. Years later society is divided into two groups, the humans and the hybrids.

We return to the ever entertaining Hybrid Earth by Rustin Petrae and Frederick Allison Jr for a look at issue 2. Picking right back up where we left off , our protagonist Xander Hastings continues his investigation into the hybrid disappearances and it looks like he’s just had a break in the case! Issue 2 is a great followup to the excellent first book and expands on the already interesting world of Hybrid Earth. We meet new characters, unravel a bit more of this mystery, and finish off the book with an ambitious fight scene.

Review of Dragon by William L. Stuart
Dragon (Histories of Purga, #1) by Rustin Petrae! I received this book from the author in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. Having said that, I really liked the book. Rustin Petrae did an excellent job of blending sci fi and fantasy into a most enjoyable story.

Recently I got the opportunity to read and review a new comic series written by Rustin Petrae (Blood Ties: The First) and drawn by Frederick Allison Jr. Prologue: In December of 2015 the nano-bomb was created, fusing nuclear and nano technology together. The first, and last bomb, was detonated into Earth’s atmosphere. When the irradiated nanomachines came back down, they merged humans with machines.

Review of Dragon by Blue Eye Books
Thank you to the author, Rustin Petrae, for gifting me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review! I don't think I've ever read a book quite like this one. It's like a combination of everything I imagine in my head (science fiction stuff). I don't really know how to structure this review so lets just jump right in! I really loved the setting and just generally the world. It was really different but also was described in a way that I could picture everything and I always knew what was going on. The nanos as well were a very nice addition. They blended well with the story and I've never seen that concept used before so that was cool.
Review of Dragon by Olive's Insights
Rustin Petrae creates a tangible world unlike any I have ever read about. Where you are either a "Rook" technologically advanced person. One who has grown up using tiny nano robots to recreate an extension of your ideas. If you are one of the few you can create anything you put your mind to. But most have vast blueprints at a fingers touch.

Interview with Scattered Comics’ Rustin Petrae “Hybrid Earth” Writer
As Scattered Comics nears closer and closer to the release of “Hybrid Earth #2″ , we had a chance to speak with Rustin Petrae. Q: How would you explain Hybrid Earth to a first time reader? RUSTIN: I would explain Hybrid Earth as a fast-paced action comic set in a futuristic sci-fi world where humans have been merged with machines thanks to a new weapon called the nano-bomb (a bomb that combines both nuclear and nano technology).
